Man that was a chore. The little stopper (Ford's version of a check valve) in the very end of the master cylinder was toast. None of the extra cylinders I have layin' around were even close in design so I opted for a new unit, $65 at O'Reillys
Jacked 'er up, pulled the tire, removed the plastic wheelwell and the game was on. Swap was actually pretty straightforward, not much to it until it came to bleeding.
My g/f just about wore out her leg pumpin' the clutch for me but we finally started gettin' a little bit of pedal and then it got better and better. Still not as much pedal as it should have but enuff to get us to the Sonic for a Chicken Wrap & a Cheddar Toaster to celebrate our victory.
Today, might try leanin' the truck over a little to the right with a ramp and see if that will help with the last bit of bleeding. Great to at least have 'er back on the road
