Sway bar spacer

My missin to return the sway bar back to it's original geometry aftera 2.5" spacer lift seems to be grim. There is no room to extend the endlinks which is what I had originally planned. But just yesterday I saw a lifted ram 2500 with a spacer underneath where the sway bar mounts to the frame rails. In theory wouldn't this counter act the lift? Has anyone tried this?

As long as the spacer you add is a solid mount, you should be good. You just need a sold block w/bolt holes and longer bolts, badda bing done

Thats what I was planning on, Just a block with holes and longer bolts. It's only gonna be like 2 inches or so. I'm gonna be a pioneer for this type of an install on an explorer?

i wonder how well lift blocks would work? my front sway bar is removed right now but hell throw a lift block in there with a peice of steel between the lift block and the sway bar mount. i would think that would be plenty strong enough. i'll check it out tomarrow i have a few lift blocks laying around from from my old trucks

It seems to make sense on paper especially because the spacer lift doesn't change the travel of the suspension so putting the sway bar back where it belongs would definitely improve the ride and take away some of the tension on the bar.

I held up the 2.5 inch blocks that I have up to the mounting points. It will work perfect I'm gonna get down to the shop to cut 2 steel plates to bolt between the lift block and the Sway bar mounts

use some square tubing- cut to fit, drill holes and used longer bolts. done simple
