I'm totally lost on how to fix this problem. I've searched the forums, so forgive me if I'm just not proficient enough to run across what I needed....

That said, my tail lights are out, but the brake lights work. I've got a 1998 Explorer. I know it's a dual use bulb, so i replaced them, but nothing. I think I've literally checked all the fuses and there's none blown.

1.) Is there a specific fuse that controls the tail light vs. the brake lights?

2.) Is it possible that there's a bad switch?

I really do appreciate the help guys.

Does it have the "LAMP OUT" warning module? How about Autolamps?

If the Parking, Rear or License Lamps Are Inoperative check Fuse(s). Circuitry. & Headlamp switch

If the Autolamps Operate, but Parking, Rear or License Lamps Are Inoperative check Fuse(s). Parking lamp relay. Circuitry.
