Tap size and thread depth for o2 sensor hole in exhaust.

I fought so hard to get an o2 sensor off my 98 explorer. When I finally got it off the threads on the sensor were smeared smooth, and the threads in the hole of the exhaust where the sensor goes is a little ruined too. I need to retap those threads so I can get my new sensor in and seated tight....

What is the tap size and thread pitchI need to buy so I can retap that hole ?

But parts stores have thread chasers for O2 sensors that are less expensive than buying a tap that size (unless you already have one).
