Turn the crank bolt with a ratchet until you see the bolt you want to remove.

Keep turning it until you remove all of them.

Please don't laugh.....which bolt is that? Can u give me a basic location and approximate size????? Or even a picture would b great!

Look down the front of your engine and look to see where your serpentine belt is. The pulley that is on the bottom center of the motor, in front, is your crank pulley and there will be a bolt holding the crank pulley on. Not sure the size on the older Explorers but I believe a 19mm or 3/4 socket will fit. Put the socket and ratchet on and turn the motor. When you turn it the motor will turn over and the flywheel will move given you access to the bolts. When you remove one bolt turn it a little more and remove the next one.

May also want to remove the spark plugs so there's no compression when turning the crank bolt.

Nuts r off! Buddy hand cranking the crank pulley and holding it while I twisted the nuts off! Thanks for the help!
