So, for those who know me know I'm undertaking a V8 swap on my 2001 Eddie Bauer, and it was originally a 2WD donor, well today, for $100 I got a transmission out a 2000 AWD Mountaineer, with 131K, complete from converter to transfer case, and I want to know if there's a way to check the case before I get it bolted in? The transmission had nice fluid in it, as did the case, was nice and clean, but I'd like to know before I get it in.
