2001 explorer sportrac
Hello, Just was told about this place, thought might be something new to learn and share, I was born in a Ford lol, I bought my 2001 Ford Explorer Sportrac new and must say not many Fords in this year range last like mine has, very few issues and it just hit 100,000 miles, never been or seen a shop, never had a tune up, has same water in it and fuel filter i just changed at 95k, other than rides like a tank to me and not good on a windy day lol, I can't complain, its just now starting to get a few issues, anyway I deal in many Fords, build, restore, part, you name it i do it :)

Most Fords in that generation had no problem going 200k. (Assuming the SOHC timing guides hold together). I’d highly recommend changing the coolant, transmission fluid, and axle(s) lube.
