I wish to thank all who have shared the tecniques and information gained in performing owner maintenance on their EX's. With the info and photos you have posted I have become another "blend door" veteran. Only slightly more difficult than replacing the heater blower motor in my 98 F-150.

Along the way your instructions on rear door lock actuator replacment, front rotors, and rewiring of the rear window defrost/washer-wiper have saved me a ton and 1/2 of our devalued currency.

Thank you again to a wonderful group to be associated with electronically.

I gotta second your (e)motion here.

I have been on here for almost 10 years, even before my current Ex, and, as a result, have never taken my 2002 to the shop. This has resulted in some busted knuckles and cold beer to assuage my pain, but has resulted in significant savings, not the least of which avoiding the need/desire to replace my Ex at $40K+.

The only thing I have not done here is to do my fair share of supporting this site (embarassed), but my paypal was screwed up last time I tried to pay up.

I will fix my PayPal and make this right - got lots of paying it backwards and forward to do.

Props to all the great guys out there who make this the place to go.
