As the new owner of an old Explorer, I was glad to find this forum to assist in troubleshooting and repairs and to have a place to kick ideas around. Our Explorer is a '97 XLT 4-door 4wd with the 4.0 SOHC (and the 5-speed automatic, I believe). I also own a '92 Volkswagen fox, and the "self-help" forum for Fox owners is a Godsend, as I'm sure this forum will also be. Thanks again, and I look forward to getting to visit with many of you. - Chris
