That Clicking Sound

Dumb question of the day?

What solenoid is it that I hear that changes the idle speed?

Mine sounds like it's trying to engage, but only "attempts" to change idle momentarily and then idle goes back to previous level.

a/c compressor kicking on? turn OFF your HVAC controls and see if it stops. the a/c compressor may run at any setting other then VENT and FLOOR.
