I've finally cracked...I'm gonna lower my explorer
I talked to a custom auto shop the other day and they said I'd be looking at at least $200 to have it lowered (about 1 3/4"). I know it would be much more because they said they haven't lowered an x before so there would be more work involved. I told them about the E.E lowering kit and they looked at me like I had three heads. I want to get the EE kit and then have someome install it for me. The shop I went to said they charge $50 an hour for labor. I haven't had anything done before by a shop so I have no idea if this is a good or bad rate. What do you guys think? Any idea how long it should take a shop like this to do the work? Finally should I get the EE kit or should I see if the shop can work something out for me? I'm afraid if I let them figure it out they'll rape me with the cost. Thanks for the advice.
