The offset Id need to fit 33s with TT and shackle

Hey guys, Im new here and Ive been reading alot and I see some guys can fit 33s under their sports with just TT and shackles and some very minor trimming. I was wondering if one of you guys could advise me. I went to the rim shop and they said I need like a +10 through +25 offset, but from what ive read here i thought they said they used -4 I asked the rim guy and he said that would make the car "chatter?" Any advise?

I have 285/75/16 (33"x11.25") on the stock wheels, with just a TT and shackles, but I have a '01 Sport. I also get a little rub on the sway bar at full lock

I have toyo 295 with stock wheels no problem.

To answer the question .....



at least 4.5" of backspacing that is the maximum.

I ran a set of MT locks 15x8 3.75 they were to much stuck out like a mexican
