I have a 00 Ranger :D with the ifs d35 up front. :(

I have a locked rear and would really like to help out traction in the front. I am going to a solid front axle some time in the future, but want some traction in the mean time.

I cant go to a powertrax because I drive in the snow.
Does anyone know of a limited slip for the d35 ifs?

The only one I have found is the dana spicer l/s. Is it any good?

Thanks,
Jason

what about an ARB?

i wouldn't think a LS would be that great either up there. you won't find an ARB for the front. supposedly the dodge dakota ARB is VERY close to the X one and only takes slight modification to work (someone from ARB told a member here this) but i'm sure that would void the warranty.

If your refering to a track-lok..... well there not a locker by far in stock trim but alot of people under sell there ability, with some fine tweaking by setting the clutch pack preload a fer thou over you will have a very responsive LS a few more thou and it will be a full spool.
You will burn the clutches out faster running them that tight but if you will be upgrading in a year to a solid axle the Tlock will be your cheapest option in my opinion.
For the cost of the ARB you could be well on your way to a solid axle...... are ya sure you cant wait? :D
