Ok, three weeks ago i replaced my modulator because the old one was leaking, ive done everything, cleaned and replaced vacuum lines, taken the modulator out 3 times, made sure pin wasnt bent or missing, taken the car to aamco (they were as clueless as i was, they asked if i re-installed the pin in the modulator, i did), tryed adjusting the modulator and its still doing the exact same thing!! It still shifts from 1-2 then downshifts back into 1st then back into 2nd, 3rd & 4th are delayed and require you to release the gas in order to shift.
Im getting to my whits end with it, who knew a little $20 part could cause such frustration? Ive done everything everyone's suggested, but it still continues :( Is there anything else that could be causing this? Because the car ran flawlessly before we replaced the old modulator. sorry about the little bit of ranting, it gets a little frustrating after a while lol. Its getting to the point where the cars going to have to go to ford if i cant figure this out, any tips??

Sounds like it could be a valve body concern?

I dont know lol, because none of this was happening before i replaced my modulator, it was running & shifting flawlessly, it started doing it the instant i started driving it after i installed the new modulator

Maybe you got the wrong one.ive head of parts stores doing this.

Ps you might not wanna start so many threads about the same problem
