I've been looking at new head units that can play DVDs on ebay and one that shows up a good bit is this eonon E0432 for about $180ish.
Official website page for E0432
It's $310 on the official website and I'm just wondering about the actual quality of this thing. I mean $180 for something that can play DVDs plus do everything else I'd ever need... I just don't know enough about car audio to find the catch in this. So if anyone could help me out with this buying endeavor that would be awesome. If you need any more info just ask
thanks

2 things:

First, anyone can make a stereo but not everyone can make a high-quality one. If you don't care what it sounds like this could be a good buy. You should do some Google searches on that model to see if you can find reviews on it.

Second, I have noticed a lot of ads on eBay from China that offer ridiculously low prices on items but when you look at the feedback it looks fake. Be careful.

I'm not particularly worried on what it sounds like, as long as it sounds descent. I'll probably buy some new speakers for my car later when I get the money. Maybe that will improve whatever sound quality the head unit might lack?

If you are really budget minded the audiovox and Jensen offerings can be had for cheap and have at least some quality, I was impressed by the picture quality on my VM-9510.

Panasonic CY-VMC7000U - $211 + ship
The Jensen 9410's are $350

I haven't seen the unit you stated for $180? Just Pyle and Legacy...

I pulled up the link at the top of the post, and saw the stereo, and clicked on more photos, and this is what it said:

"This product not more photo now."

LMAO

That's disturbing...
What about the Innovatek 993 or the Eonon E456? Both are cheap and seem like good units. They also have the smaller screen which makes me a bit more comfortable because I worry that a big screen will destract my eyes from the road.
Also would I have to buy additional wiring besides what comes with a new head unit?

Unless it requires a special means to operate while driving/moving like my Alpine did, you shouldn't need anything extra.
