Thinking about lift

new to heavily modding things and was thinking about a 1-2 lift front and rear suspension wise,
I have no idea how much or what brand or anything to do for this, I know it's not good to cheap out on this stuff, but my budget Isn't very high, talking probably the most $100, me only 16 and working at fast food isn't adequate money.

Are these good? Also, what are torsion keys, cant I just use a ratchet?

Lots of threads here discussing exactly what you want to do. If you search and read, you'll have a good understanding and will be better able to make the right decision.

Some will say you don't need the new torsion keys some say you will.

They control the twist on the torsion bars.

You can max out the bars with the stock keys or use new keys with different indexing for a less harsh ride.

Get a set of Warrior shackles for the rear.

And for God's sake get the extended length shocks made for the tt lift or you'll have a seriously harsh ride with the shocks working against the t-bars.

I went 2" in the front with lift keys and 3 1/2" in back with springs and Warriors.

Mine rides and handles better than it did new.

The 265/70/18 Coopers help some.

Don't take it personally.

Keep asking questions, you'll get lots of answers.

When you do go with the lift, let me know and I'll point you toward the rear sway bar end links that work correctly.

They're a part made for the front of an F250.

They're adjustable, and put the sway bar right where it's supposed to be to work correctly.

I'll have to go back and look up what I used.

Those work absolutely perfect on the back of a lifted Mountaineer or Explorer.
