Hello, About 5 months ago I purchased a 99 xlt with the sohc engine. The colder it is the rougher it ran. I did some research and came across this web site and signed up, started a thread, and got numerous advice on the problem. I am happy to say that you guys have saved me a NEW MOTOR buy giving the the knowledge to take the truck to my dealer with 70,022 miles and have the warranty recall work done for the 00m12 ford recall. This has fixed every problem I have had and didnt cost me one red cent!!! You guys all need a huge pat on the back and a sincere thanks from me and my wife!!! I hope everyone that has any problem with a model same as mine will check into this recall and have it done if it needs so.
