Would it increase or decrease HP if I removed the cats on a 92 Exploder? any good or bad effects?

Is my vehicle capable of towing, 123,000 on it, its an auto, what can I do to "protect the the tranny"? Any recomendations?

My throttle is very sloppy, any adjustments? when I have it WOT, the butterfly doesn't open completely it stops 1/4 of the way before the throttle body Stop, please respond back and help me out.

Doubtful you would experience any good effects.

As for bad effects, do you like jail food?

Sure... go ahead - knock those cats offa there... your grandchildren will love you for it.

cats off

i ran my explorer at the 1/8 mile track at 10.8 stock, its a 92 sport, then i took one of my cats off and gutted the other, so it was basically a straight pipe, i noticed a huge impovement, my new times were 10.3 . not bad for a ohv 4.0 . Later i put on a resinator to keep the sound down at little.

by gutting the first cat you wont get in trouble for not having one, unless the cop can see threw metal or something.
