Hello all Ford fans, I hail from the mountainous valley of the Kootenays in the south eastern corner of British Columbia, Canada. I love FORDS and own a 1978 full size Bronco xlt ranger. 1990 f150 s/c shortbox 4x4 p/u, 1991 ranger xlt,1989 s/c 4x4 p/u and just bought my son a 1993 Bronco XLT 4x4. Look forward to asking and replying to questions on our trucks. Fords Forever-FordRanger91

if you haven't done it, i'd recomend you replace the whole slave assy. it should come with a throwout bearing. I did a new clutch and tranny swap on my old ranger a few years back, and about 2000 miles of driving it the slave went bad. I think they're like $130 but it's worth every penny not to do the job twice. that should also give you an idea of how it all goes together. Gluck
