Throwing a new code P1565

P1565 - Speed Control Command Switch Out of Range High

I've searched the forum but can't find anyone with the same code. Anyone have any ideas?

I am also throwing a P0316 but will be changing out all my plugs when I replace my intake manifold in January.

The speed control switch is the button that sets the cruise control speed. My guess would be that your clockspring is bad. Which is a fairly common problem.

If I remember correctly there is a recall on the cruise switch... not sure though, so dont quote me on it
