Thumping/knocking sound on drivers tire going left in reverse

When I back up going to the left my front drivers tire area I hear a thumping knocking it's like in between the 2 thought it was the bumper cuz someone drove and kinda smashed the bumper in took bunker off and it stopped for awhile and now has returned -.- help

Hard to tell without hearing it, but do you have someone that can watch while you reproduce the sound? If tie rod ends are worn, one wheel could be moving back and forth slightly and producing the knock sound. If the bumper end is dragging, they should be able to see this as well.
