get a screwdriver, preferably a long one, and use it like a stethoscope to find where the leak is, put the handle end up to your ear and than use the tip to find it,,

what am i listening for? like how do i tell thats where the leak is?

i might also add, that i dont think the egr is all the way tight. there is next to no room in there and i didnt have a good wrench. i'm going to tighten it up tomorrow so i'm hoping this is all it is and nothing more serious!

Listen for the same noise amplified- if you find the spot, you'll hear it... Trust me! :D

i think its coming from where the header meets the pipe. it wont seat correctly. can i get some high temp sealant and seal it up? if so how hot does that area get? or do they make gaskets to help seat it?

thanks :)
