time for a new rig

well my exploder is gone sold it for $4750, and now im driving my girlfriends extra car, a 97 wrangler 4.0 auto, but im lookin in to the 02 xterra supercharger edition 4x4, how offroad capable are these, whats the stock 1/4?(i dont want another slow truck)
