Time for new subs

The time has come to purchase new subs and I'd like a little input from you guys on what to get. I've narrowed it down to 1 s15l7 kicker solobaric or 1 12" alpine type r. What would you guys recommend. No matter which I get, i'll get the appropriate amp so what should I get? No audio stores around me have either to listen to. Input please!

Well what are you looking for? Strong loud bass, or just something to backup your doors?

If it were me making the decision, I'd build a good sealed box and toss that 15" sb in there.. It should be able to handle whatever you throw at it.

If you just want something to fill in the low notes, just go with the 12" and you can use a smaller box (within mfgr specs of course), and still keep your cargo area.

It just depends on what you're looking for, and what kind of space you're wanting to fill.
