tires again - pick between two BAD choices - things change

Those days are long gone. I’m not sure anyone allows steel pins anymore.

Not too far long gone. I was driving Crown Vic police cars about 6 years ago in the snow with studs. You should see what happens when you spin your tires and throw all the studs in your fender-well.

If you threw the studs the tires were likely WAY old. There are still plenty of places that allow studs, they are just aluminum and not steel.

Oh, just noticed that my other white 1997 5.0 AWD has Goodyear Wrangler Radials - oh well.
