To Flush or not to flush..High Mileage Trans

Another version of an inline filter is FORD part number XC3Z-7B155-AA or BA

(looks more like an inline fuel filter, it splices in the cooler return line).
 






I almost bought an inline for ease of installation.
 






Boy i wish i could have gotten lucky enough to get a good one...my current one that is going out has less then 40K on it and has been serviced 3 times by the people who rebuilt it..(Transamatic in Chico)

I've gone to Dale's Transmisions in Chico to flush mine. They are pretty up front and honest about things. Lol, they wanted $2500 to rebuild my trans. I told them I would run this one into the ground, then swap in a donar.:navajo:
