Our '04 Ex has a cold air intrusion in the pass side foot well. I can't seem to find where the air is coming from. I've looked under the dash to see if there is a duct loose, but can't see anything out of place.
I'm out of ideas here, and my wife is tired of having a blanket wrapped around her feet every time we go somewhere.
Does anyone know where the outside air supply to the heater comes in?

thanks,
John

The recirculation door is broken. If you drop the glovebox down you can see if the door is there or fell on top of blower motor housing. If you can see to the box on the engine side of firewal it is broken off.

I stuck my fingers through the grill and could feel the door laying loose on blower motor. So, how difficult is the fix on this? New door or whole new heater box?

thanks for the info,

John

You can replace that part of the heater box separately but you have to remove dash to replace it. I think the part is like $125

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check on this to see if I want to tackle this or leave it to the dealer.
