Ok, here's something that I never thought I'd have a problem with.
I have a 04 Explorer EB 4x4.
On occasion, I will get a sensation of torque steer on my truck and it's usually accompanied by a growling (maybe grinding-like) sound. Of course, as with any torque steer problem, it only occurs during moderate to heavy acceleration.
The strange thing is that this is INTERMITTENT!! Most of the time, it works just perfect. It's hard to pin down the exact conditions when it occurs, but I usually notice it more near the end of my 20 mile commute.
Any ideas??
Thanks a lot.
