I am new here I have a 2011 ford explorer xlt with the sync system selectable gear transmission and trailer settings in the dash menus. However I do have a hitch are the options I listed indicative of a tow package?

All explorers have those in the dash menus. The tow package on a non-sport adds transmission cooling, tow button next to rear hatch open button, and actual tow gear.

Thanks for the information would it still be Okey to add a hitch and tow a 5x10 utility trailer?

There's a long thread on here about all that, but the jist is that if you tow under 2,000 lbs you'll be ok. If you go to the 5,000 lb max you get with a 2" hitch, you'll likely not be able to have any incurred damage covered under warranty (say if you tore up your transmission, suspension, etc.) unless you get the full trailer setup which isn't sold as a kit.
Since I have the sport, the only difference with trailer package is the hitch and the button (no engine/tranny differences) so I opted to do those 2 things myself and saved a buttload. Since there were no engine/tranny differences I considered my risk to be minimal and likelyhood of warranty refusal very low.

Thanks I found the other thread also I will be doing the install and moving on :salute:
