Hi All, Thanks for your help joining Rick. I just picked up a used 2018 XLT. Bought it as-is with a known issue. I thought it would be easier to repair! The traction control will activate just for a moment when I turn a corner but works ok in straight driving. I have flashed the PSCM and ABS to factory. Steering angle appears accurate and offset adjusts while driving. If I deactivate Traction control, problem disappears. Any ideas to fix? I'm not 100% certain of the logic/inputs that activate the TC. Oh, wheel speed sensors all track well (same speed straight, variation when turning) some are new, and the magnetic rings are intact.

Welcome aboard Dr. Freeze.
Put your display in power divide mode which shows amount of power to the front/rear axles. Our vehicles are FWD with clutch applied rear axle. Under normal driving and normal mode just come on a bit for the rear axle. How does yours behave?

Seems normal, mostly front, rear illuminates during takeoff

Drilled & tapped the PTU to change the oil.. it was fairly dark. Trac control issue remains only when turning the wheel. When I run live data, the connection drops when the trac control activates. Could it be a communication failure? I did get an intermittent DTC for comm failure on TCU. Considering popping out the clockspring to have a look? any other thoughts?
