Trac Loc rebuild w/ extra clutch packs?

Hey Folks,

I have heard that the Trac Loc limited slip can be rebuilt with extra clutch packs, which increases the preload and thus hopefully traction.

Can anyone point me to a procedure or outline of how to do this on the web? I would like to do this for now while I save up $ to go to a selectable locker and gear swap.

There's a lot of info on this. I know 'cause I was gonna do it. Do a search. In fact I even bought the rebuild pack. But now I'm not going to do it so if you're interested, it's brand new in the box from Ford. Let me know.

Why aren't you going to do the modification?
6-7 hours is a long day, too much to pay a shop to do...

I'd have to look into shipping way up here to Canada - may be cost prohibitive, how much are looking for for the kit?

I'm not doing it because I'm going to do a mechanical locker instead. How about $65 including shipping?
