tranny dip stick wrong length and diameter

'98 sport
Put a salvaged tranny in my 98 sport 4x4 auto this wekend. For some reason the original dip stick is too short and thick to fit into new tranny. I don't know the year of the new tranny but I'm about 2 inches short and a tad too thick to fill the fill hole :-) anyone know a different year that will fit my 98? Thanks
 


















I'm going to assume that since you have a 98 auto sport that you originally had a 5r55e transmission. From what year explorer and engine did you pull the salvaged one?
