I have an auto tranny in my 4L 2003 ranger. Had a flush done a while back. I noticed that the fluid level on the dip stick when warm is maybe 1/2" to 3/4" above the cross-hatched marks on the stick.
So my fluid level is high.
Is this really that bad?
Should I drain some?
If so, since I don't have a drain plug, whats the best way, disconnect a line on my aux tranny cooler and start the truck until enough squirts out or is there a better/easier/less messy way?
