Hi,
New to the site and the posting process, so hope I'm in the right place. Have searched and not come across similar issue.
96 4.0 OHV X 4WD - Tranny upshifts at 2900-3000 all gears, even under WOT. OD button functions as normal on highway. At cruising speed and stomp on it, will not kick down. Long grade will slow to 55 on highway (foot in it all the time) then a hard downshift with a short flutter-shudder sound. Same situation engine warm or cold.
155K odo, 50K on dealer replaced tranny. All else normal. Recent event, northern new england weather.
