Tranny prob??

Tranny problem

I have noticed that when I'm driving on the highway that I will feel the vehicle shutter. All most like the tranny is slipping. It happens when going up hills and when passing cars. I notice that if I get it to down shift the shutter goes away. Any idea's.

Its a 97 OHV auto.

i would take it seriously check the fluid level and all that good stuff. if you or anyone else cant figure it out take it somewhere and get it looked at. i say this because today my tranny went out!!!! i was having some similar things with my 91 the past month, the fluid level was fine and the color or tranny fluid was good then it got worse when id be driving on the highway id try to pass someone and when i tried to excelerate hard the tranny would slipp out of gear!! well today it decided to go out and i had to have it towed to the shop today!! sucks!! so ya check it out and dont put it off like i did!!

well i just got the bill for my tranny rebuild
ready for this....
$2500.00!!!

whoopie im so excited!!
ugh wish i would have taken in it in sooner!!!
well i sure learned my lesson maybe someone else can learn from it too,
if in doubt check it out!
instead of putting it off!!

no wheelin for me for a while me thinks!!
