i had taken off my air intake just before the throttle valve to get at the coolant sensors. i noticed a red sheen that made me nervous. i opened the valve and shone my light inside. there is a small puddle of trans fluid deep in there. any ideas on how it got there? is this a bad thing? i know i still have to replace the front pump seal, but i am poorer than dirt. will this impede my ex's performance?
