i have a explorer with the electric shift and i cant get the damn thing to work.i was wondering if anybody has made a manual lever to replace the shift motor.

I haven't heard of anyone "making" a lever that works on the e-shift 13-54. Borg-Warner also made a manual shift version of the 13-54 which will replace your electric shift transfer case. Check the junkyards and see if you can find one. That's how one usually gets a manual shift t-case.
 






I read some time ago about some guy that removed the motor and rigged up something like a speedo cable and ran it up into the cab with a little handle that he could manualey crank. turning the electric into a manual
 






dragging up a 3 yr old thread bu8t hope to find a link to this innovation? I think I read about the swap here but not sure, the fella used hydraulic hose adaptor of some sort.
