2005 explorer sport trac
Hubby drove my Explorer sport trac uphill about 50 miles before realizing that it “kinda sounded funny “ noticed it was in 2nd and then put the truck in drive. Do I plan on transmission troubles?? Very troubled about this

Is it shifting
Driving ok

Driving normal, sounds normal, do you suggest a train flush? 130,000 2005 model
If its fine then I would not over think it
If you are that worried change the fluid ...pan drop...
Don't ever flush a transmission IMO

It's probably just fine, don't mess with the transmission unless you have an issue
