I JUST purchased a 2005 Explorer XLT. First Ford ever. period. Now that I'm doing extensive research on this vehicle (guess before hand would've been smarter), I am getting the sense that their is quite a number of tranny issues.
Not knowing much about vehicles whatsoever, knowing that most of you probably DO, and knowing that transmission issues may been in my future as an Explorer owner now, what would I look out for or listen out for if my tranny starts to 'act up', such as transmission slip, transmission bump, etc? In other words, what signs start to emerge when transmission issues arise or are about to arise?
