Hello All,
I need to ask some of you Ford Explorer experts out there an issue with my transmission. At first, the trans was loosing traction in drive until it warmed up some and then it would work fine. slowly it would take more and more warm-up in order to engage, but now it will not move forward at all....only in reverse. ( yes the linkages are fine )..
I was told to replace the modulator, and i did...still nothing. Now a major auto parts retailer tells me that it is the transmission pump located between the motor and transmission but they do not have any diagrams to indicate to me exactly where this part is located. Another still tells me that there is a rebuild kit for the pump..
Please..any sound advice will be very appreciated folks.
Thank You, jc878
