Yes. There is an overdrive band that makes the 4th gear. Like IZ said, the 5 speed uses 2nd I believe in conjunction with overdrive to make an extra gear. You should look into the teardown diaries here...if you are a mechanic you should have no problem rebuilding it.

I am going to get a donor car tomorrow, for the same amount I normally would have to pay for only a transmission, hopes this solves my problem.
