I have a 2001 Explorer Sport that the interior light will not come on when the passenger door is open. While I was trying to fix that, I must of done something to screw up the passenger power window. It no longer works, from either the drivers switch or the passenger switch. When pressing the drivers side switch (for the passenger door) the lights on the passenger switch turn off. Other than that nothing.

Any ideas?

Bummed. And on top of it all, the passenger door still doesnt turn on the interior lights....

don't know what you did to screw up the window, but the door latch has a little switch attached to it. they can get stuck or break and that's why your interior light isn't coming on. either that, or you got some broken wires in the wire loom in the door jam. the broken wires usually occur on the driver's door, just becuase it gets opened more often.

Actually, my Explorer was missing the switch, I pulled one out of another explorer but was not able to get it to work.
