well i stuck with the open DP for now. Well heres an outside video...and yeah it sounds like ass its a V6. I went 2.5 into a 3" pipe into a 3.5" slash cut turndown.
Its still quiet under cruise and isnt that loud all around until your on it and alot louder once the gate opens. later ill probally install a muffler?
for now im going to leave it like that. And maybe a dynomax bullet later. cruuising along (since this is my DD) you cant even hear the exhaust just the sound of the turbine spiining and the compressor whistling. even when im idling i can hear the turine whirling
If I were walking down the side walk, and you came by me like on that vid, I'd probably hit the deck thinking I was being attacked my aliens.
I personally don't like loud because I can't hear what the engine is doing. In fact, after I made mine quite, I noticed a hissing sound that turned out to be a blown DPFE sensor. Also, as I'm tuning it, I want to be able to hear the engine pinging if it ever decides to do so.

yeah i plan to extend the exhaust out the rear with maybe no muffler. I want the sound of the tuirbine thru the exhaust yet i dod want it quieter later and a full exhaust will send the note out the back. Those welded are just mig i wish i had a tig welder.
I have no tuning yet. I have savings towards new heads, gaskets, fuel pump, and tuining devices.
well the truck sounds way different now. I swaped my 19#ers for my 30#ers. Sounds a little rich but it pulls hard, very responsive and climbs hills fast. When reinstallling the wastegate line is ddnt notice it was split and on a hard pull the truck kept pulling harder and harder and me to say "wtf?" and look at my gauge to read 13-14psi that got my heart pounding. I fixed the line and zipped it but i want to eventually tune this truck for15psi
i was seeing 15psi my foot wasnt all the way to the floor and i was shifting at around 4k. Sounds crappy but its a V6 with no muffler what did u expect and i need to get this sucker tuned theres so much untapped potential. i also am considering learning how to tig and get working on a custom upper intake with a built in air-to-water IC.
