turn signals a.nd hazzards dont flash.

howdy. i tried looking around and came up with nobody in the same situation. heres what ive got
2000 ford explorer XLS witha 4.0 and the turn signals dont blink. they come on solid when the hazzards are OFF if you turn the hazzards on the turn signal that was on solid goes off... the hazzard button does nothing
started by checking fuses and replacing the yellow flasher. then moved into rebuilding the MFS same problem so i just replaced it. same problem not sure were to go from here. please help!

you dont happen to know the number. the car has no schematics printed just #s to cross in the non existant owners manual

shows its a single relay hanging under the drivers side under the dash. btw it has to be a flasher relay not just a regular relay in its place to work.

yeh replaced that. i thought there might have been some kind of odd set up. im not that familar with fords that relay happend to be yellow as i mentioned above

when you adjust the steering wheel height does it work? cant think of the year of the explorers but some the wires going to the multi function switch would pull out of the switch. cause some fun non working things. headlights or flashers cant recall what it would take out. or check the wires going to the hitch they do some funny things also.
