Ok, had to rebuild my trans again! The friction surface on the rev ban let go and filled the transmission full of it. Pulled it all apart put a new paper kit, clutches, bands and bearing kit & new torque converter in it. Just to be safe I pulled the valve body apart to clean all the stuff out. I got a new filter but it was different from the old one. The guy @ the transmission shop told me this is the one it calls for. the old one was shallow and slender and looked like a 2wd. the new one is wide and has a long pickup. The o-rings didn’t fit as tight as the old one but I don’t think there is any leakage. So why do I have solid rev and manual 1 and manual 2 but drive won’t get out of 1st? it seems like the pressure has to build up for a sec before it will engage but like I said manual 1st and manual 2nd feel strong. Any ideas? oh no od flash light or anything
