uhhh, i think i might have a small problem w/ my '95 xlt 4dr w/ 113,800 on it. well, i went out to play in the snow and when i got back to school, and went to park in one of the snow bunkers(they really don't know how to plow round cars), i was backing in, i was in 2wheel, just to see if i could make it, and like i thought, onje wheel started spinning, but then the other one, the rear driver side to be exact, started making a klunking sound, but when it was in 4lo, it didn't, only in 2 and 4hi, i really have no clue what it could be, first time this has dodn this, did i break something, any forsight into this would be helpful, thanks

Do you have an LS or other traction aid in the rear?

ls, it's the control trac system 4x4 too

rear axles make some noise when there is a speed differential between the 2 wheels. my 95 with the LS makes obnoxoius noises and clunks and vibrations when one wheel is spinning faster than the other. My Chevelle did that as well except it had an open axle. they are a bit noisy when operated outside a certain parameter.

See if the problem continues. It's either normal, or your LS starting to go out.
