Was meeting my grandparents for brunch, and ran through one of the auto washes to get a good underbody rinse because of all the salt they threw down the other day. Pulled in, as the jets hit under the engine bay, it died. Fired right back up with no issues, no check engine light or anything, ran smoothly, but then pulled up to where the buzzer tells you to stop, and after a minute or two it died again. Again, fired right up, and later on stalled again when I was pulling through the dryer. Not running weird, not idling any different than usual, runs and revs just fine but does at idle after a short period of time.

What could cause that? Of course I would have an issue the day before I go back to work after being off for a week and a half.

Spent about an hour at the resteraunt, and on the drive home, everything was fine. No stalling, knock on wood. I will have to get it on ramps later and see if there's any exposed wiring or anything that could've been shorting out. It does not do that when it rains, and it downpoured just the other day, and I hit a million puddles on top of the heavy rain.

Well with the issues these trucks have with bad wire insulation, I would think something got wet, and caused some shorting. Could be tough to pinpoint though. Good luck.

Upon a "quick" visual inspection, I couldn't find anything. Its way too damn cold out here to get into anything in-depth right now, being about 20 degrees, high winds and a windchill of probably 10 or less degrees. I am determined to find the issue though, will post back when I figure anything out.

*It has been fine ever since, so whatever that water jet sprayed, didnt like the water.

Good point, never thought about the pending codes it might have saved. Of course my buddy still has my damn scanner though. Can Autozone pull pending codes?

Put on a new belt today and sprayed my spark plug wires with a mist to see if they were arcing, since I didn't replace them when I did my plugs. No arcing, but without digging deep, I found a couple wires related to the fan that had cracks in the insulation.
