2000 EB V8 Explorer with 204,000 miles. When backing out of the garage I am hearing a vibrating rumble from the power steering or possibly the brakes (I think) when backing to the right. There is no issue when the car is driven forward or backing to the left. PS and brake fluid levels are OK.
The rack & pinion steering unit was replaced 9/09 by a dealer (along with front wheel hub, stabilizer link, mag wheel, and misc. shrouds & assoc. struts) after wife's low speed accident. SUV has been fine since that time.
Suggestions?
