This will probably be of interest to a few people

Got four new Reflex shocks today, under a $100 rebate program for all four shocks.

As I understand it, the rebate becomes fully available some time in March. I bought the shocks from Mufflerman in Southern Ontario, which has offered the rebate early.

Too early to pass judgement myself, but I've read some other quite good reviews here on this site.

Where is the site?

No site; Total

There's no site associated with the rebate; Sorry if I gave that impression in my original post. I was referring to some of the reviews I read on this site. I became aware of the rebate from the shop I bought the shocks from.

I'm also not sure if this rebate applies to the United States as well as Canada.

As for pricing, I was quoted a price of about CDN $100 per shock, including taxes and installation. Total came out to CDN $508; the rebate will decrease this by $100 to $408. Again, this is with taxes and installation.

The lowest price I was quoted while calling around in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, was about $85 per shock, prior to rebate, taxes, and installation. I didn't bother trying any US-based online retailers because of the pain in the ass factor in getting it to Canada. Couldn't find any Canadian-based online retailers.

It's finally stopped raining and freezing here in Ontario, and I've been able to really work the truck - and I'm quite happy with the shocks. Roll on off-ramps, and other turns is really reduced. The truck seems to handle those low-amplitude bumps better, it's less jarring in the cab. A set of railroad tracks that used to hop the truck sideways was soaked up nicely.

Hope this answers any questions. Sorry for any confusion.
