upgrading '95 premium cassette to '98 premium cd?

Please help me out with this. I have a 95 with the premium cassette and I've purchased a 98 and up premium cd. the harnesses are not compatable. Where can I find the wiring diagrams for both so i can hard wire it? I have checked Installdr and the diagrams dont quite match what I have. I am ending up with two extra wires on the new radio, red/black and black.

Any help would be appreciated.

im pretty sure that you are SOL unless you have the amp in the back. the JBL premium head unit in my 97 wasnt actually a head unit, it just controlled the cd changer and the 'brain' in the back of the explorer. I dont think you're going to be able to hook this up, i could be wrong though. you should look into the aftermarket

It does have the amp in the back. Speaking to a company that repairs factory stereos, I confirmed that the old stereo and new stereo both are to be hooked up to the amp in back. Does anyone know the wiring for the 95 harness?
